One of the things that surprised John Mackey, the renowned founder of Whole Foods Market Is its strong commitment to consensus as a mode of operation.

Contrary to what happens in most companies, where decisions are taken by majority, Mackey says Whole Foods that voting decisions are not simply ... are agreed: they put all agree.

A work style has its detractors, it takes longer to make decisions, but to ensure the involvement of everyone in the project: when working by consensus, the implementation easier, and problems are solved more quickly, with a line of computer ownership and hard to get otherwise.
